Cut Foot
Signs, bleeding from a foot or leg with or without lameness often occurs on
beaches and when dogs swim in ponds containing broken glass.
Similar signs may
be shown by a claw broken near its base.
ACTION if bleeding is profuse wrap foot in lint or cotton wool
and apply a firm roller bandage with even pressure round the claw.
Take
the dog to a vet for whatever treatment is required.
Never use an elastic
band or other constricting material.
