Pink Nose
Pink nose is often associated with anoestrus periods in bitches, with the
black pigment returning as they come on heat.
It can also occur in spayed bitches and male dogs.
This fading usually occurs in winter and the black pigment returns in
warm weather.
It should not be cause for concern, except for exhibitors in
shows.
Seaweed and elderberry tablets from herbal suppliers apparently help, but
should not be used without first contacting a vet for his advice.
