Be careful
when applying these potentially toxic preparations, always read the directions
carefully beforehand, especially if you buy brands available through
pet shops, because not all are safe for young dogs.
Most puppies can be safely
washed with a flea shampoo from the age of 12 weeks onward.
Do not let the puppy
get a chill. If possible use a hair drier on its lowest setting, but never on a
dog with skin problems.
