Tick Infections
 Certain ticks may spread serious Infections, Some ticks in Australia and the
USA may cause paralysis.
Lyme disease, is
a bacterial infection that is known to be transmitted by ticks, which are
infected with a spirochete known as Borrelia burgdorferi. The disease is most often
acquired by the parasitic bite of a deer tick.
Lyme disease treatment, tetracycline, doxycycline, or
cephalexin for 14-21 days.
Some signs are rash, which will
look like a target with circles, chills, fever, lack of balance, swelling and
join pain.
Guardians living in the USA who are concerned should contact
they're vet
as a vaccination has been developed, which can be administered while the dog is
still a pup then annually.
