They just fell out
You will notice your Westie's teeth will get
replaced in a certain order. First the incisors then the fangs and finally
the premolars. Bobby lost some of his premolars when I just gave him a
tough biscuit to chew.
They just fell out !, at the time there was
some cause for concern, but he did not think so and continued to nibble
and chew the biscuit. Most puppy teeth will fall out and the event will be
unnoticed, However make sure they do as they will restrict the growth of
the permanent teeth.
Incisors, 6 of them on the upper jaw and
6 on the lower Total 12, they are used to nibble and groom. I have
watched both bobby and Scamp groom each other with these teeth and I have received
a tiny bite or two myself from them.
