How Vaccine work

A vaccination stimulates the dog's immune system, to protect it from attack.

When infectious agents enters the dog's body, the body will see these as foreign and produce antibodies.

These antibodies will search out and destroy the foreign invaders.

The immune system now contains cells that manufactured the antibodies, if a further attack of the same agent acres the cells will respond more quickly. Regular booster vaccinations assure these antibodies are maintained.
